Fujian Maofeng green tea is different from any other tea. It can be brewed many more times, it has more vivid colour, complex palate, and uniquely evident aroma. The pure enjoyment and relaxed feeling the tea provides will without doubt become a vital part of your daily lifestyle.

Fujian Maofeng is a unique green tea produced from silky single buds plucked one day before they open and hand-twisted to a snail-like form during processing. It has endless health benefits. The fact that Fujian Maofeng green tea is extremely rich in antioxidants and makes a great source of vitamin C is worth underlining. Just one ‘but' - Be careful, after tasting Fujian Maofeng you may never want to drink any other tea!

Appearance:
Tea leaves are dark green, thin, long and a delicately rolled like a string. Infused tea unfolds to vivid-green-coloured unusually big leaves. Liquor green-yellow at first and becomes amber with each subsequent brewing.

Taste & aroma:
Fujian Maofeng creates an exquisitely refreshing composition of citrus, corn, nuts and fresh flowers with a brisk aftertaste. Aroma is clear and powerful.

Origin:
Fuding, Fujian Province, Easter Coast of China.
Fujian is one of the most famous areas to grow and process green teas. The subtropical climate, with comparatively warm winters creates a homeland for some of the best teas in China.

Harvest Period:  Spring 2009
