Que She, literally Sparrow Tongue, being composed only of buds and a single partially unfurled leaf, embodies a rare delicacy. Only buds of best shape, best colour and best aroma qualify to be used in production of Sparrow Tongue. Que She is full of surprises - its taste is delicate and soothing, yet the brew is powerful and extremely energizing. Que She should be found in the collection of each real tea connoisseur.

Que She is the second most acclaimed green tea in China (with Lung Ching being number one). The tea is gathered and processed exclusively by hand. Leaves are rolled till soft and pressed by hand to attain glossy, flat form. Que She is picked early in the harvest season.

Taste & aroma:
Delicate and pleasant with a hint of citrus. It's mild and sweet aftertaste has notes of bitterness very characteristic for fresh green teas. Wok processing creates smoky, yet light and fresh aroma.

Appearance:
Leaves are very small, beautifully wrought, glistening and relatively heavy with a deep green colour. Liquid is unripe green and fresh.

Origin:
Zhejiang Province, East China.
Zhejiang has a humid subtropical climate, offering an ideal environment for tea and thus not surprisingly leads the provinces of China in tea production.

Harvest Period: Early Spring; End of March 09
