White Peony tea is made from both buds and leaves picked from great white tea plant in early spring. This variety of leaves used makes Bai Mu Dan a mosaic of colours with very interesting sweet and mild, yet very full-bodied flavour. Although the natural sweetness clearly identifies the close relationship to the Silver Needle white tea, the cup colour is darker and the aroma bolder.

The silvery buds are enfolded by green leaves, creating an image of a flower. Steeped green leaves unfold resembling petals of a peony blossom hence the tea is named "white peony".

Medically, white tea is refreshing and good for the stomach. It can also be used to dispel the heat. Other health benefits of white tea may include lowering cholesterol, strengthening the immune system, promoting healthy blood vessel functionality and even protecting teeth and bones.

For a subtle boost with the least caffeine, enjoy a soft and distinctive white tea anytime of day.
